A year since Gaza’s Great Omari Mosque suffered extensive damage in an Israeli air strike

More than a year into Israel’s war on Gaza, at least 200 historical sites have been destroyed or damaged. The Great Omari Mosque in Gaza City has been partially reduced to rubble after the Israeli military bombed it last December. Al Jazeera’s Ibrahim al-Khalili reports from the site of that mosque in northern Gaza, Palestine.
