The death toll in Gaza is rising quickly after Israel launched a new military operation in the city of Khan Younis. At least 87 have been killed.
Dozens are wounded and have been taken to hospital. Palestinians say they were given no time to find safety– Israeli forces started to bomb the area just moments after they issued an evacuation order. Displaced families are now fleeing towards the western parts of Khan Younis.
The Israeli military issued an evacuation order for parts of Gaza’s Khan Younis on Monday then started attacking moments later, killing dozens of people.
