Israeli military moves further into Rafah, has full control of Philadelphi Corridor

The Israeli military continues to move its forces further in the central and western parts of Rafah, after plunging the city into total darkness overnight Israeli forced seized more of the border area with Egypt, known as the Philadelphi Corridor.

This comes as Israeli strikes targeted various areas in Rafah overnight, and in the early hours of Wednesday. Nearly all hospitals there are out of service. Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud has the latest from Deir el-Balah in central Gaza.
