The killings and destruction in Gaza continue at a large scale. A school serving as an evacuation centre was attacked, one of many across Gaza, including both private and UNRWA schools, sheltering hundreds of displaced families. These centres, intended to provide safety, have been repeatedly targeted by Israeli attacks, with nine bombed this month alone. This recent attack in western Beit Lahiya killed at least four, though up to 300 families were sheltering there, so the toll may rise.
