UN warns of ‘maelstrom of human misery’ in Gaza

The UN on Tuesday said the war in Gaza has created a “maelstrom of human misery.” Speaking before the UN Security Council, Sigrid Kaag, UN Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza, described the collapse of the public health system and the disruption of the education system.
